Handicap gives us all a chance to win so I'd have gone the other way personally but we know dickie likes to win

Bollocks

Handicap gives the s**tters a chance which is great but surely the better golfers should have a chance to win themselves

the only game I’m good at and the only game any of us play where there is a handicap to level the playing field

None of us have played it for ages so we will no doubt have gone backwards

think I was on a small + handicap

I will check this evening and join the new tour

Ok, I've changed Shinnecock Hills to Old Head, as the course looked rubbish.

I'll try to play through them all this week while I'm off just to make sure they are all ok.

I can only set one as a major, so that's going to be Augusta! Once we level up the club a bit hopefully I can add more.

Some of the guys were in the low teens, a good few have got down to around scratch or 2/3 now. The more you play the better you get at it, particularly the putting. If you are having trouble with getting the Perfect/Perfect tempo press the left stick and that brings you into practice swing mode before you take a shot or every so often in a round when you "lose" your swing. That way you can get the feeling of the right tempo and making sure you are within the cone before you take a shot, click left stick to go back to real swing. Once you start hitting fairways and greens regularly it come down to putting and we have all had our woes at that. Even last night when we got back to playing and we were all in a party guys were 4 and 5 putting due to being out of practice. It really is a game that the more you play the better you get.

Yeah, in staying on player for a bit. Went round in even par on a practice round of the first course. No doubt Phil will be -20 after his silly handicap

Can I just check is it pull the right stick down then push up or is it the left.

Does it have to be in straight lines

@ToffDuff I swing with the left stick so to enter Practice Swing mode I push in ( click ) the Left Stick into the Controller. You've done it right if you then you see your player standing further away from the ball. You can swing away to your hearts content trying to get perfect / perfect tempo and also stay inside the cone. Push In the Left Stick to exit.
