Medellin played host to the Scottish giants Celtic and with it, missed out on the chance to go top of Division 1.

Brimming with confidence following their 6 game winning streak, the Division 2 League & Cup Champions started brightly, having much success down either flank. Come the 16th minute their pressure told, Puch losing the fullback to whip in a delightful cross for Pazzini to head home. Sadly for the Colombians, Celtic then got their s**t together and pushed the home side back. Come the 23rd minute they had their equaliser, Gutierrez exposing some poor marking before striking it beyond Howard. Unable to settle, Medellin continued to be run ragged, Toivonen unfortunate not to take the lead in the 29th, striking the post with the keeper beaten.

Eventually the visitors dominance told, a glorious bit of play bringing with it a well placed finish from Toivonen to put Celtic ahead. At the end of half time Medellin somehow found themselves with a great chance to equalise, Pazzini exposing all of his right footed prowess on the wrong side of goal to blaze one mightily wide.

2nd half and much of the same, Celtic continued to have the better whilst Medellin looked to play on the break. Chances for both sides could have given the game a completely different scoreline but as it was, it was Celtic who took a deserved 3 points away from the Atanasio Girardot.

Really good game dude & great craic as always, all the best with the rest bud
