Player statistic

Back on home soil for the 1st time this season, Medellin treated their fans to a vintage performance in the opening 45 minutes, with a few close efforts & abysmal finishing to boot, The Colombians made the breakthrough as Pazzini delicately placed one beyond the keeper after half an hour. Going into half time, all looked well with just a 2nd goal required to kill the game off.

Come the 50th and it all but looked done as Pazzini beat the keeper but not the post, the ball proceeding to be put clear of danger. With a sense of what if, Millwall sparked into life and began to push their hosts back. With Medellin's defending becoming more erratic, a red seemed inevitable as Ginter did well not to concede a penalty as he took out 2 Millwall attackers. After this it was all hands to the pump as Millwall piled forward, with the final kick of the game an equaliser looked inevitable, but Howard stood tall with the parry going just too far wide for Perez to get the goal.
