Medellin welcomed long time rivals Karabukspor to the Atanasio Girardot Arena and yet again missed the opportunity to go to top of Xbox Division 1 with a 1-1 draw.

In a game of few opportunities, it was Karabukspor who would chance their arm first, a cross from out wide reaching the head of Arango, who could only direct it beyond the near post after 14 minutes. With the match becoming embroiled into a Midfield battle, a poor clearance from the visiting defence saw Pirlo test one from distance, striking it wide in the process. From the resulting goal kick, Ozcan played it directly to Pazzini who the fans would have put their house on scoring. Criminally, he took his chance both too early and too weak, striking the tame effort directly at the keeper. From here the Colombians had their tails up and were rewarded in the 41st when Rojas received the ball out wide and whipped in a cross for Paloschi to nod home the opener.

2nd half and again, the match was mostly played in the middle of the park, a neat passing move from Karabukspor allowed Miranchuk to break free from the madness and nicely finish for the equaliser. With what turned out to be the last meaningful attack of the game, the Italian trio of Pazzini, Pirlo & Paloschi combined in the 81st to put the latter through but again, the Colombians finishing skills deserted them at the worst possible moment.

Whilst it's now 2 successive games without victory for the Xbox Division 1 Champions in waiting, fans are encouraged that the team is now adding draws to their seasons repertoire
