A game of two different styles - on one side there was Taliz with his fast counterattack football and myself with possession. Taliz would own the day with some brilliant passages of play which resulted in goals when required against the flow of play to put this to the sword. The game started off with Athletico slicing through the Spurs back line for the opener. Taliz would mount a challenge straight away with a volley of corners 5 in a row which saw Aigner even things up with a Volley outside the six yard box. Defoe would get onto the end of a fantastic cross from Brady to put Taliz up 2-1 lead into half.

At the start of the new half Martinez scored a scrappy goal after Mooy missed a one on one and bounced in to clean up the thrash Mighty Ducks style. However there was no flying V comeback from the team in red with Taliz making Madrid pay for their wasted possession with a move that looked like Big Sam was at the sticks a mighty long ball that would see Rupp fight off would be defenders onto a one on one and finish it calmly for the winner.

Madrid would have opportunities but were wasteful for most part but all in all a deserved win for Taliz.

Good game mate look forward to the rematch
