A good game between two managers who faced in the play-off last season for promotion to the prem and on that occasion it was Steevo who was victorious but this time it was the men in Blue from Glasgow who got the bragging rights but just about

Torres who got in behind the Bristol defence before finessing it past Green within the first few minutes. Bristol kicked off and went on the attack winning a corner and from the corner the dangerous Yokuslu rose highest and headed top corner past Ruddy

Both keepers were making saves and it was end to end before Sambueza found himself in acres of space and after a pass from Jara he was one on one with the keeper before firing it past Green making it 2-1

Just before the break Bristol City got another chance and Melano who was delicately played in by Shelvey slotted it past Ruddy making it 2-2

Second half and Rangers took their only chance they got when Johansen picked up the ball after a shot was deflected into his path and he fired home top corner from outside of the box

From here on in it was all Bristol with Rangers just not getting a foot hold of the game and from corners, crosses and some nice passing, Bristol City just couldn't then get that clear cut chance for the leveller.

Very good first half goals wise and a much more defensive second half from a Rangers point of view

Good game mate and all the best for the season and until our next outing.
