QTY Event Time

After 2 games in Europe, Real Madrid traveled to South Africa for an early season matchup against Scotty's Kaiser Chiefs team.  The game started as a bit of a midfield mess with neither team able to getting any rhythm in the passing game with on the tall and thick South African grass.  Madrid started to get things going and Should have scored int he 22nd minute but Bobby Wood missed from point blank range.

The American made up for it 10 minutes later when Rojas passed into a wide open Wood right in front of the net and Big Wood didn't miss this time.  Just before halftime some nice passing around the box gave Cancelo a shot from a tight angle and the Portuguese player absolutely drilled a shot near post past the keeper to extend the lead.  Madrid brought on 3 subs in the 2nd half and newly signed Brazilian Abaranches set up Guidetti in the 90th for the exclamation point on the road win!
