A match full of chances and goals which started early on and continued until the last minute. Early pressure paid off for the Jaguars when Blanco was through on goal, and seemed to have scored only to tease the fans with a 1-2 off the post for an easy tap in to ease the fans anguish.  It was short lived though, with Bergara being played through in similar fashion but finishing first time past the keeper who had no chance. 1-1 and all to play for.

Just 8 minutes later and up stepped new signing Bernard, slipped past 2 defenders and slotted past the keeper for what was a deserved lead after taking the early goal as motivation and continued to pressure forward.

The match fell into a bit of a stalemate after that, and at half time the away team made a change to take out star striker DeFoe and bring in the industrious Popov. This, however, was of little consolation as the aging Zurutuza smashed one in from the edge of the box to open up a 2 goal cushion on the hour mark, and put a bit of a safety net between them. The game opened up drastically and after a few missed chances for the Jags, a goalmouth scrap after a save and block left Ari scraps to tap home the 4th and surely put the game to bed on 78 minutes, but immediately after up stepped Ruben to claw one back, surely not a late come back?

With time running out and pushing more forward it was the home side who took advantage, a counter attack causing a split defence to leave Ari free to score his second before the end and seal a pleasing revenge victory after the sides first meeting ended in a reverse result.
